About
Sohnich's Default Realism
Sohnich's (pronounced sonics's) Default Realism is an extension to Alvtron's R3DCRAFT Default Realism texture pack. It's made be myself Hunter Parker, better known as "Sohnich." R3DCRAFT Default Realism is a discontinued texture pack that takes the default look of Minecraft and enhances it for a better experience that doesn't take away from the traditional gameplay. Unfortunately this pack only supports x128 and below.
Alvtron's R3DCRAFT has been my favorite texture pack for several years. I find most Minecraft texture packs out there not to be as good as the default texture pack. Since the project was discontinued, I took it upon myself and started adding my own default style textures with newer updates. Now that I've received permission to share my extension from Alvtron, I decided there may be others who'd benefit from these new textures!
Although I have permission to share this as an extension to R3DCRAFT, it is by no means the same texture pack. I designed it with the attempt to mimic the style in the original R3DCRAFT to the best of my ability but it's still not the same.
